Expertise in Leadership and Strategy
Delving deep into the core of organizational purpose, strategy, values, perspectives, and culture, Imran offers a thoughtful and sustainable approach that helps setup organizations for long term viability. Imran’s C-Suite experience helps bring in real world experience to his leadership methods. Additionally, he has orchestrated leadership workshops aimed at broadening the perspective for leadership teams, facilitating introspection into pivotal organizational challenges and critical contemporary issues.
Academic & Professional Achievements
Wearing multiple hats, Imran has been associated with prestigious institutions and corporations. He served as faculty for Harvard University and Aga Khan University’s leadership program: “Transforming Leadership for 21st Century Africa.” At the Aga Khan University’s Graduate School of Media and Communications, he donned the roles of both faculty and Director of Executive Education.
His journey also includes 15 years in the aviation industry where he served as a regional director at the Boeing Company and two years as Chief Executive Officer at Aviation Services East Africa (ASEA). In the non-profit sector Imran served as Interim Executive Director for the Jubilee Monuments Corporation, a U.S based non-profit focusing on youth development initiatives.
A Legacy Beyond Work
Beyond his professional odyssey, Imran’s passion for nurturing the next generation led him to help launch Global Encounters, a groundbreaking program for high school students which emphasizes service, leadership, and culture, boasting 4,000 alumni from an impressive 40 countries.
Educational Roots
A continuous learner, Imran’s academic pursuits took him to the University of Southern California, where he acquired his Bachelor’s of Arts. He continued his educational journey at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government where he not only earned his Master’s in Public Administration but also left a legacy as the elected President of the Student Government.
